Among my favorite pastimes photography is right up there with kayaking, camping and woodworking. I enjoy driving around the state of Michigan shooting pictures of our scenery and heritage. Michigan has more than its share of lighthouses. I know many people take pictures of them, a few even make prints or cards to sell. The intention for making the style of prints that I enjoy creating, is to show a different mood or feeling about the scene.
My college degree is in photography where I've earned a number awards for my B&W and Color prints. This year, 2009, will see me participating in a few fine art shows around Michigan, including Art on the Grand July 17-19, 2009 in Farmington, The Shelby Art Fair, August 8-9 in Shelby Twp., and more when scheduled.
